SUMMER BBQs
Summer is here let the grilling begin! I love this time of year.
Don’t let the economy stop you from having a get together. Family, friends and food is all you need! Pick a date and send out a BBQ invite . Next, start planning the menu. Burgers and hot dogs are a given, but why not spruce it up with some Southwestern pasta salad, a quick tossed salad and bite sized appetizers. No matter what you serve, the presentation is all your guests will remember. Buy inexpensive paper drink umbrellas and put them on your appetizer platter to be used as toothpicks. For the punch, add fresh fruit to orange juice and store bought fruit punch.
For the decor, cut fresh flowers or foliage and place in glass jars. Disguise the jars with fabric. Remember presentation is everything!
